3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Conscious of the previous week's "failure to launch", I wanted to be doubly sure of performing last night, so took a double dose of leftover Cialis and gave myself a good half-hour to "warm up" before missus came up for her "weekly treat". This time, everybody's bell got rung!

I am having to come to terms with the fact that I no longer have a permanent cola bottle down my trousers, and that I need to create the right conditions to be "successful". Missus is fortunately in no way bothered by this, so I can afford to relax and simply accept that this is how it is. So long as I'm regularly eating peanuts (they contain L-argenine, the "boner" protein) and give myself he necesary time and environment to get going, everyone will continue to be happy (except Son, who finds it all disgusting)

The downdside of resorting to "chemical assistance" last night is it's side effect of being like amphetamines, so I only got four hours sleep last night and was up "bright and breezy" at 4am. Tomorrow night I can hopefully re-set the body clock and pay back "sleep debt"

The Weekend Job will provide a good test to see if my "Hypnotic Gastric Band" holds in times where I don't have full control of what I do and when. For full details of how it's all going, consult this blog.

Though I can't afford to mentally give it too much attention, it is a source of endless fascination to me how different Son and Daughter are, given that they were brought up in the same environment in the same way by the same people. I have a Son who is generous, empathetic, with whom I resonate strongly, and a Daughter who is completely self-absorbed, bitter, vindictive, ungrateful, unforgiving and completely dismissive of anything I have to say.

For the sake of my own wellbeing and my principle of excluding the joyless from my personal life, Daughter is consequently kept at "arms-length" whilst Son is like a close brother. I have learned to be completely accepting of "how things are" and to simply respond intuitively in line with my chosen purpose. In any sadness or disappointment in your life, I have learned that it must be simply accepted and got on with in the most positive way possible.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
