3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
On one hand, Monday was not very productive, but on the other it was a good bonding day with Missus and Son, and today promises to be a similar sort of day. However, I do not feel frustration, only profound bliss - my life is seriously cosy, and as all things must pass, I'm savouring every moment of this, my Golden Age.

There's always things to lament over or fear if you chose to, but I have learned to focus on the moment and the positives within it. I have come to reject utterly the so-called Christian Work Ethic as a way of living. I have observed those who espouse the "work hard and get ahead" philosophy, and there is nothing about their lives that I desire or admire. Instead I admire those who follow their dream and live for their passion. I am going to spend the rest of my life doing what I love to do, and in the face of any adversity, squeeze out every last drop of joy that I can.

8. TRIVIA
The first genetically-modified food to go on sale was the tomato in 1994. In Western Europe, particularly the UK, GM food is very unpopular and fiercely opposed by environmental groups. In North America, opposition is negligible and GM food is not distinguised from naturally-bred food.

The US Government categorises its allies into grades, with 1 being solidly dependable, down to 5 being completely unreliable. Only the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand are bestowed with Grade 1. Of these, the United Kingdom is considered the strongest ally of all.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The only reliable measurement of wisdom is behaviour.
