3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The lifestyle I have chosen for myself is to take risks and embrace uncertainty. This at times can be scary! You inevitably take risks that fail, most noticably in Son's attempt to enter a conservatoire - we were poorly advised but the decision was mine.

My Practice, though generally successful with the clients I've had, has seen turnover plunge and I'm heading for a loss in Year 6. And you never know when the next unexpected bill is coming in - most recently necessary clothing for Missus. My policy on relationships, i.e. excluding the joyless, has resulted in a Stalinist Purge of Daughter, Mother, Father and Sister from my life.

So do I regret any of this? Absolutely not! I love my life! I spend most of it enjoying myself immensely, living my life my way, moment-by-moment, using the opportunities and resources that present themselves. Home in particular is a joyous bliss filled with love and laughter. I live for today in complete gratitude and no complaints, happy to ride the great scary rollercoaster experience that is life.

8.TRIVIA
The same side of the moon always faces Earth because the moon takes the same length of time to rotate once as it does to travel all way around Earth.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Life is best lived by being bold and daring. People tend to grow fearful when they taste failure, face a daunting challenge or fall ill. Yet that is precisely the time to become even bolder. Those who are victors at heart are the greatest of all champions.
