The Hungarian prime minister meets with Hitler and is told Hungarian Jews must be exterminated 

In Belgium...
King Leopold III is deported to Germany

In Normandy, France...
Construction of artificial harbours begins
British 1st Corps expand Sword and Juno beachhead and advance towards Caen
German 12th SS Panzer Division counterattacks British 2nd Army around Caen 
British 30th Corps, expanding Gold beachhead, captures Bayeux and attacks Port-en-Bessin
US V Corps expands the Omaha beachhead 
US VII Corps expands the Utah beachhead 
US 2nd and 90th Infantry Divisions arrive in Normandy
Allied engineer units construct advanced fighter air strips inland from the Normandy landing beaches
RAF 2nd Tactical Air Force provides support in high strength for forces on the ground 45 Luftwaffe and 42 RAF fighters are shot down in dogfights
US 8th and 9th Air Forces also provide strong ground support with bombers and fighters. A further 41 Luftwaffe fighters and 47 USAAF fighters are shot down in dogfights
RAF focuses on attacking German logistics, preventing German reinforcement.

In the English Channel...
Strong anti-submarine defences are established. U-629 sunk by RAF aircraft in the first of many attempted U-Boat attacks.
Mines sink USN Minesweeper Tide, US vessel Susan B. Anthony, USN LCT-436, LCT-458, and LCT-586, and damage British hospital ships Dinard and Julian, and US vessel Francis C. Harrington
RN minelayer Apollo and RN MTB-617 run aground off Normandy 
German S-Boat attack invasion shipping and Germans claim 4 vessels, the Allies report only one and one damaged.

In Italy...
Field-Marshal Alexander radio broadcasts calls for an uprising against the Germans in northern Italy 
British 8th Army advances toward Orvieto and Terni 
US 5th Army drives north and captures Civitavecchia

In the Atlantic...
U-955 is sunk by Allied aircraft in the Bay of Biscay

In the Pacific...
After being decimated by submarine attacks on their transports, remnants of Japanese 118th Infantry Regiment arrive in Saipan

IJN destroyer Hayanami sunk by USN submarine Harder off the East Indies

US 41st Infantry Division is heavily engaged around Mokmer airfield on Biak Island   

In New Guinea...
Japanese 18th Army probe the eastern end of US Aitape beachhead around Afua along the Driniumor River 

In China...

Advance elements of Chinese 71st Army of Y Force reach Japanese positions at Lungling

Some isolated elements of Japanese 18th Infantry Division retreating into hills south of Kamaing

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Slept very well by my standards - a whopping 8 hours, but now I'm rushing around as a result! 

I'm finding staying connected to my Higher Self takes work! It's do-able but requires a continual act of concentration. However I've learned the hard way how necessary it is for my own wellbeing so I will persevere!
