3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
In an unpleasant yet interesting episode yesterday, I suffered an intense low mood that began in the early morning and gradually lifted around 6pm for no clear reason at all! My circumstances, both at home and at the Weekend Job were benign. I can only conclude that something biochemical happened in my body.

What was quite pleasing is that only Son picked up on it first thing. Everyone else did not notice as I worked hard to keep focused. That is an indication of good coping strategies. I have learned that I am not fully in control of internal as well as external circumstances - I can only make my best choices given the circumstances - internal or external - that I face.

8. TRIVIA
A male and female wolf that mate usually stay together for life. They are devoted parents and maintain sophisticated family ties.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Never for an instant forget the effort to renew your life, to build yourself anew. Creativity means to push open the heavy, groaning doorway of life itself. This is not an easy task. Indeed, it may be the most severely challenging struggle there is. For opening the door to your own life is in the end more difficult than opening the door to all the mysteries of the universe.
