3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My life, like the unseasonal weather, is currently mild and benign, which is ideal for self-promotion and self-development. In addition, there are now few distractions, so time is more likely to be spent wisely.

I will consequently use this time to sharpen my focus on my intentions and use all the opportunities in front of me to make them happen!

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you taking advantage of all the opportunities to develop yourself?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Dry and cloudy throughout, with some sunny intervals
A moderate south-westerly will blow throughout
Max Temp = 17 degC
Min Temp = 13 degC
Sunrise at 07:06
Sunset at 18:47

Weathertrack: High pressure dominating Europe will continue to cover Britain, but a very strong depression between Greenland and Iceland will drive two cold fronts across Britain overnight and on Wednesday
Air Pressure: 1020 millibars and static

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
If a man makes a statement in a forest, and there's no woman there to hear it, is he still wrong? :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Frankie Boyle's Referendum Autopsy (sorry, UK users only unless you use a VPN)

8. TRIVIA
The first African-American Oscar winner was Hattie McDaniel who was awarded the 1939 Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mammy in Gone with the Wind. Twenty-four years would lapse before another African-American would win: Sydney Poitier for Lilies of the Field (1963), which was filmed in just 14 days.

9. ZEN WISDOM
There may be times when others seem enviable. But others are others and you are you. Rather than comparing your joys and sorrows to those of others, you should aim to surpass your limits in the situation you are in right now. Those who can do this are the true victors in life.
