3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Though I have set a course for the role of this character, that in no way means I have instantly become Buddha! My focus is not yet robust enough to be firm in the face of all distractions. Regarding late buses I did reasonably well yesterday but Daughter deciding to ring her mother right in the middle of tea time was somewhat more distracting.

All three family members plus Daughter simply got annoyed by this badly-timed intrusion! Though not immune to distraction, at least I know what to do to restore balance - simply return focus upon The Witness, my True Self. The quieter times are opportunities to strengthen focus to increase its resistance to distractions. I will do so with the humility that comes with knowing you can become robust but not invincible.

Today is a golden opportunity for some important self-development and I intend to seize it.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Do you have a clear vision of the person you intend to be?

Difficulties impede the progress of those who are weak. For the strong, however, they are an opportunity to open wide the doors to a bright future. Everything is determined by our attitude, by our resolve.
