3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
It's another happy day in this character's little bubble-world, but I have no intention of simply sitting in it feeling smug. Benign circumstances are ideal times to self-develop, and in my case that's elevating my consciousness and self-promoting online.

I am getting the hang of higher consciousness, which essentially boils down to continual attention and focus on the moment. Once I can do it continually in benign circumstances, I will be sufficiently robust to master more challenging ones. Progress currently is pleasing!

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
How are you developing and strengthening yourself?

8. TRIVIA
The word "lesbian" was not applied to female-homosexuality until the 19th Century. Before that, it simply referred to an inhabitant of the Greek Island of Lesbos. On that island was the home of female Ancient Greek poet Sappho (612-570 BC approx) who wrote female-homoerotic poetry. With a revival of literary interest in Sappho in the Victorian era, the terms "sapphic" and "lesbian" acquired their modern meaning. Lesbos Island is now a tourist attraction for lesbians worldwide who come to visit where Sappho lived.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Happiness doesn’t exist on the far side of distant mountains. It is within you, yourself. Not you, however, sitting in idle passivity. It is to be found in the vibrant dynamism of your own life as you struggle to challenge and overcome one obstacle after another, as you clamber up a perilous ridge in pursuit of that which lies beyond.
