3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Being self-aware does not free me from the quirks of my character! I was upset by a series of inconsequential events at the Weekend Job and realized that I wasn't in control of how the bodymind reacted to certain stimuli. What I COULD do was limit the effects by staying focused, and no harm was done.

I have to therefore count the experience as a success! I was fully accepting of things I could not control and kept focus in the right place. This prevented any serious overreaction and allowed for a quick recovery. However there is always a lesson and room for improvement, and I was reminded to refocus on the ongoing ins situ objective of making a difference.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Right here, right now, what difference are you making?

8. TRIVIA
Venus, the brightest of all the planets, can be so bright that on a moonless night, the planet can actually cast shadows on Earth.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The course of our lives is determined by how we react—what we decide and what we do—at the darkest of times. The nature of that response determines a person’s true worth and greatness.
