3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Son's cold has turned out to be full-blown flu, and Missus, making little progress in her recovery - I will be nursing for some time to come! On the plus side, considerable money has been saved on the grocery and Viagra bill, and with little catering to do I've had more laptop time.

As hoped for, a sore throat I had yesterday has eased, suggesting that my immune system will fight off all viral attacks this time. It will now be a case of allowing my intuition to guide me into the best use of this extra time.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

8. TRIVIA
Until the nineteenth century, some inhabitants of the islands in the South Pacific considered sharks to be gods and offered human sacrifices to them.

9. ZEN WISDOM
By helping other people become happy, we too become happy. How can those suffering in the depths of hell, who have lost the will to live, get back on their feet? Merely thinking about our own problems often causes us to fall even deeper into despair. But, by offering a hand to someone who is also suffering, we ourselves regain the will to live. Taking action out of concern for others enables us to heal our own lives.
