3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Missus declaring herself recovered, an unusual fortnight comes to an end, that turned out to afford more time and cost less money! However, it will be good to get back to a structured routine. At the Weekend Job, slime-manager was on site but kept out of my department, raising my confidence that even when she's around, the Weekend Job will run smoothly.

With the external world benign and untroubled, by focus has been internal and the struggle to keep in Higher Consciousness. My mind is capable of leading my focus into all kinds of dark unpleasant and upsetting places! These consist not only of traumatic memories, but imagined ones. 

I would rather have a mind that was easier to manage, but on the other hand, its quirks have forced me along an Enlightened path just to manage my character!  I have to continually be paying attention and keeping my focus afloat above internal nightmares and away from external distractions. I now understand the Zen saying "If you want to be Enlightened, prepare to sweat white beads"
