3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
You never stop learning if you're open to it, but I have at least, at the ripe old age of 52, reached "get it" point, where I really understand myself, and what "myself" actually means. Whilst my preference would have been to "get it" much earlier, experience has at least given me a very clear understanding of the difference between wisdom and ignorance, nurtured and un-nurtured, love and loneliness, confidence and insecurity.
Being in the "get-it-eventually" category is certainly preferable to a life of petty frustration, and I have been spared the appalling suffering experienced by so many. This co-ordinate in time and space is in fact perfect for observation - to see the panorama of the universe from macro to quantum - to gaze with wonder and appreciation at the experience of the universe, and to both play a role in a story and see what everything really is.
I have also learned that staying super-conscious doesn't happen by default - you have to do things to stay this awake, and the most important thing to do by far is meditation.
I'm not one of those who gets fab existential experiences during meditation - there's just a blissful experience of disconnected being. It's the effects and benefits on the rest of my life that really count. It enables me to experience life to the fullest intensity.
My purpose is clear - to pass on knowledge and wisdom to the receptive, so that super-consciousness is an ongoing and expanding experience within humanity.

8. TRIVIA
In the 1990s, hip-hop artists made it fashionable for men to wear their
pants below their waists and showing their boxers or briefs. This style,
called “sagging,” is said to have actually originated in prison when
jail inmates had their belts removed because they might be used as a
possible weapon. Other historians believe this style originated as a
sign of availability among homosexuals.
9. ZEN WISDOM
Our lives inherently possess a boundless energy. Summoning this forth,
we can break through the shell of the small self that constrains our
lives. The process of revolutionizing our own lives and helping others
to do the same can transform society and ultimately elevate the state
of humanity.
