3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
So the first "slob-out" of the season comes to an end, and I have enjoyed it tremendously. It has done wonders for my libido, successfully initiating sex and ringing bells without any chemical assistance. It would seem that sat on my arse all day and filling my face with chocolate and peanuts has the same effect as Tadalafil. Unfortunately that is not a sustainable lifestyle! Nevertheless, it has shown me that I still "work" under the right conditions.

Daughter's 5-day visit has been mainly trauma-free, although some intervention was required to defuse Son's resentment at one point. The key has been acceptance and adaption. I have fully accepted her self-absorbtion and complete disinterest in contributing, helping or compromising, so there was no disappointment or frustration this time  - I simply gave over the Lounge to her, fed and watered her as needed and then simply kept out of the way and did my own thing upstairs.

The only time my hackles did raise slightly was her refusal to let her mother have any say in what was on the telly, as I do resent her mother being dealt with selfishly, not that it was a surprise. However, I did not interfere and just offered internet TV upstairs when missus wanted it.

With daughter departing today, I look forward to "reclaiming" the Lounge in the evening.
