3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With yesterday's shift at the weekend job going as smooth as a baby's bottom, and all well on the domestic front, my Dark Side has retreated into its box and my being is bathed with the light of gratitude. In fact I am generally on something of a roll, as is the nuclear family in general.

With brain still in early bed/early rise mode, I am enjoying the luxury of abundant morning me time in the comfort of the Consulting Room recliner. When I'm not seeing clients, it is effectively my "garden shed", a place to enjoy solitude, meditate and bugger about on the laptop.

It also doubles as a Prayer Room for missus. Whatever your faith, I firmly advocate prayer as it is very good for your mind, both in empowerment and focus. Where my own spirituality has shifted is in recognising that the power is not in what you believe in, but in the belief itself. When you believe in something, it causes genuine change. I therefore encourage everyone with a positive belief to express it.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Do you know how to foster positive belief in yourself?

8. TRIVIA
Chairs did not become a common household item in Europe until the 18th century. Before then, they were considered a luxury item and a symbol of authority, from which we get thrones and the idea of a meeting led by a "chairman". The leader would get a chair while everyone else sat on benches or stools.
