3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Daughter postponing her arrival until Monday, the prospect of a routine weekend is somewhat comforting, and I can devote myself to standard chores and quality time with Son and Missus.

I am more convinced than ever that it is your loved ones that deserve the lion's share of your direct time and attention. My proudest achievement is my relationship with my son, vastly superior to the average. Yesterday for example we just spontaneously chatted for over an hour. This to me is the best possible use of my time, absolute priority #1. It's all so wonderfully natural - I never force him into things, he is just naturally turning out to be how I would wish and great company too!

I am beside myself with gratitude for the quality of relationship I have with Missus and Son! It inspires me to unilaterally make a difference to those receptive to my gifts and talents, and to aggressively and ruthlessly fend off those who piss me off.

8. TRIVIA
AM and shortwave radio stations have better reception at night. This is because the composition of the upper atmosphere is different at night and becomes opaque to longer radio waves, allowing them to bounce off at an angle and go back to Earth much further away from the mast. Unfortunately this also means that there is much more interference, as stations of similar wavelength to the one selected are picked up by your radio.

FM stations can only be picked up a relatively short distance from the mast, as the high frequency radio waves do not "bounce" so interference is rare, and DAB stations' signals carry a unique signature, so no matter how many other stations there are, all other signals are screened out, making reception perfect so long as you are in range.
