3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Since recovering from Norovirus, I have been on something of a roll. My spiritually-orientated friends and fellow Reiki practitioners would argue that a "clearing" process has taken place, a purging of negative energies.
One thing I crtainly agree with is that all things are really just energy vibrations, because that is what the evidence of Physics indicates. I also observe that positive and negative exist side by side in abundance - triumph and tragedy all going on at once.
I believe that the destiny of your life experience is dependent upon which of these energies you most resonate with. For a positive life experience, you fully accept the presence of darkness, both in yourself and the world, but your focus and attention is firmly on the positive. The consequence is that you BECOME positive and experience the positive in the face of both positive and negative circumstances around you.
It is also necessary to robustly defend yourself when other people's agendas encroach into your life. I have no hesitation in wielding the darkness within myself as a weapon, then returning to light once the threat has passed, and returning to the baseline attitude of gratitude.
