3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Considering how ABSOLUTELY SHITE I felt on Wednesday night, with a raging temperature, my demeanour has recovered in spectacular fashion. Unfortunately, whilst my mental faculties are back to normal, my bowel has gone the other way. Viruses always target a specific organ, and this one has gone for the digestive tract. Missus, who has also contracted it, can't keep food down. In my case, the problem is at the other end. It would seem I need to be within 10 seconds of a toilet for the time being.
Keen researcher that I am, I have little doubt that we have contracted NOROVIRUS, also known as the Winter Vomiting Bug. Not a lot can be done until it's flushed through. Nice! I may as well make best of it and amuse myself with videos, catchup TV and multimedia - not meditation though, I need to be fully alert in order to dash for the bog.
