3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Though I have resolved my erection issues, there is a marked decline in libido. After spending most of my life unable to think straight without an orgasm a day, it's an odd new experience I'm still getting used to. I still like to "look" but that's about all - to go any further alone or otherwise seems too much like hard work.

Marital sex these days is about satisfying missus' needs rather than mine. It's been at least a fortnight due to missus being ill, and I'm not "missing" it at all. I don't see this as a bad thing - it frees up lots of time and energy for other things, makes me "safe" and relaxed in female company - ideal for a therapist, and means I don't get that grumpy testosterone aggression and frustration.
It also means I don't have to be so furtive looking for some privacy to get some relief.

Of course there is a slightly sad sense of loss, but what I'm losing only made life awkward anyway, and there are plenty of other sensual pleasures I still enjoy. Sex will not vanish from my life but will continue at a significantly diminished level, enough to keep everything "ticking over". An orgasm a week feels about right, and any more will be just to service missus on demand as needed.
