3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Thursday was an oddly frustrating day for everyone without being particularly traumatic. Son as he anticipated had a bad day on his sound-mixing test, paired with an idiot. Missus was really sleepy and slept right through our "slot" so missing out on having her "natural needs" satisfied. I got engrossed (ok obsessed!) with a new self-hypnosis video which took up most of the day, when I could have used the time more productively elsewhere.

Interesting synchronicity indeed! There there are plus-sides all round. Missus and Son will be much better off for their prolonged sleep, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the unexpected me time I got. I am quite pleased with myself how accepting and adaptable I was to the unusual turn of events, but I was fortunate that nothing happened which trod on any raw nerves.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

9. ZEN WISDOM
Without dialogue, humans are fated to walk in the darkness of their own dogmatic self-righteousness. Dialogue is the lamp by which we dispel that darkness, lighting and making visible for each other our steps and the path ahead.
