3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I was quite pleased with my productivity on Tuesday, revamping my YouTube channel and cleaning kitchen appliances. The only fly in the ointment was the thorny issue of Daughter, who I inevitably but begrudgingly share Missus with.

At least parents and sister stay out of my life, but this accursed woman haunts me like a ghost! If there was clear delineation between my time with Missus and hers, I would be cool with that, but she can ring any time of day and night and I have to comfort Missus every time she is at the receiving end of Daughter's latest unreasonable attitude or nasty remark.

The cause of the latest flare-up was Missus wanting to spend money we don't have on Daughter's 21st birthday, which she would not appreciate or have the remotest grain of of gratitude for. I never get the chance to properly heal from the hurt and profound disappointment in having a Daughter so utterly devoid of empathy and responds only with vindictiveness at any perceived slight. In fact I am deeply profoundly disappointed in blood relatives in general with their unresolved personal issues and warped priorities.

Of course, I cannot go through life lost in self-pity. And generally, I have built a happy life for myself. It's only when this ghastly woman impedes my personal space or Missus wants to give her money that old wounds are opened. I have accepted the fact that your rights are something you have to continually fight for and defend from the personal agenda of others.

Inbetween battles, I know that I must refocus upon the positive and my purposes. Missus does worship me and my relationship with Son, the sole-surviving blood relationship, is rock-solid. It's nice to have someone else to let you know you're not imagining it - I really am surrounded by loons and the selfish. IT'S NOT ME IT'S DEFINITELY THEM.

With borders secured, I can reground myself and refocus on making a difference to those receptive.
