3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Sunday is normally the day for taking it easy and paying off "sleep debt" but for some reason this one was extreme. I closed my eyes for meditation around 1415 and the next thing I knew it was 1730. This was nothing compared to Missus who was only actually awake for an hour at lunch and three hours in the evening.

My response to such occurrences is that we simply needed it. We're both up super-early most days, and this last week we simply got less sleep than we needed. It does mean that I can't afford to bum around today, although it helps I got the laundry out of the way at the weekend.

I've reached something of a crossroads at the turn of the month where I need to decide how to take my Practice forward. I will stick to my principle of focus on the objective and letting intuition recognize and exploit the opportunities. Meanwhile on the self-development front I continue to pursue the objective of Total Internal Silence.

I am most grateful indeed for the blissful circumstances of home life, completely free of stress and negativity, which allows me to think freely and develop in a calm loving atmosphere.
