3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
After
the albeit productive distractions of last week, in which by
trial-and-error I learned new animation techniques, I intend this week
to see a restoration of balance, where suitable attention is given to
all areas, from Son and Missus to the garden. This will require purposes
taking priority over preferences!
Most
importantly, I intend to make significant progress in the discipline of
Mindfulness, towards by goal of the absence of superfluous thought,
making this character rise above mere functionality to high
effectiveness. The key to this is simple in theory - just follow your
breaths. However, keeping focus on them is a challenge! My latest tactic
is to imagine the air as a sedative that suppresses thought but leaves
intuition and the senses unaffected. We'll see how I get on!
