3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Brain was clearly in need of maintenance time yesterday after a prolonged meditation/sleep most of yesterday afternoon. After a lifetime of using it I have concluded that it has an "overheating" fault that manifests in the form of excessive emotion, and I have to counteract this by disciplines that cool it, because it certainly doesn't cool itself!

A manager at the Weekend Job has been foolish enough to arouse my HATRED and upset my mind's fragile and hard-won balance. On one hand I do not wish to suppress and ignore it as it will only burst out in inappropriate places and affect the innocent. On the other hand if I just go and knife this individual, this has severe repercussions for my loved ones of course.

I have found, after being initially lost in some very dark places, that the best response to a perceived threat is to seek opportunities to take this person down. This focus serves to calm the emotions and brings a sense of empowerment. I began with an online search. This manager seems to have no online presence at all - utterly invisible on the web. My next move will now be to seek allies at the Weekend Job who can supply me with useful information, and to be emotionally and mentally prepared for future encounters.

Thus having a rudimentary plan of sorts, my hatred will after the initial brainstorm cease swamping my consciousness and I can focus on my life objectives in the time spent outside the Weekend Job. My learning has taught me to start with the goal and work backwards. I have a very clear idea of what my goal is, so as the positive equivalent of dealing with a threat, I am now seeking allies and opportunities that take me nearer towards that positive goal.
