3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I intend to make something of a "fresh start" for my character today after some time being distracted by projects that were fun but not developing me. I am convinced more than ever that how fulfilling a life is depends on how focused it is. I intend to become hyper-focused in mind, body and spirit and so make a real effective difference, to myself, others and the environment.
I go forward with a hint of realism - there are factors beyond my control that affect the directions I take. I intend to respond to these factors in the best possible way.

8. TRIVIA
The Texas flag is called the “Lone Star Flag” and has three colors: red
to represent courage, white to represent liberty, and blue to represent
loyalty. It was adopted in 1845 when Texas became a state. The large
white star was first used on Texas flags in the 1830s during the battles
between Texas and Mexico.
9. ZEN WISDOM
Everything passes. Both soaring joys and crushing sorrows fade away like
a dream. However, the knowledge of having lived one’s life to the
fullest never disappears.
