3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Home life these days is such a happy/restorative/healing place, and I'm profoundly grateful for such a refuge, something I have enjoyed only relatively recently. Abundant time and space in loving company away from malign forces is essential to my wellbeing and to restore mental health. One of my objectives is to be able to work from home full time so my equilibrium never gets disturbed in the first place.
Of course, most folks have to venture into hostile environments occasionally. The key to surviving in such places is knowing what to do, having a prepared and rehearsed action plan with a built-in flexibility to adapt to unexpected events. I have come to terms with the fact conflict is fundamental to life, and that people who have power over you do not discharge their roles or wield their power in the common interest, or treat people in the way they'd like to be treated.
I am now fully prepared to fight whenever my personal wellbeing is threatened, and will without flinching wield the darkness within me as weapon of self-defence. I have found that life has been happier since I started doing so.
