3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I have done much reflecting on the nature of my emotions and how easily they seize control of my thoughts. From a "value-added" perspective, the techniques and disciplines I have employed to control them have been spectacularly successful at saving me from self-destruction and have led me to a blissful home life where I enjoy a wonderful freedom and love.

Outside of the home and the Consulting Room, in the wider world, strong overpowering emotions have sabotaged the ability of this character to wield the wisdom and knowledge accrued to succeed in corporate environments and wider social contexts. People and events keep triggering them!

On one hand, emotions have severely hamstrung the potential power I have to wield, but on the other they have enabled me to truly taste life in all its flavours. The ultimate goal of the universe to experience itself has most certainly been fulfilled in this character.

Now more than ever I am convinced that for the fulfilment of your character, the ability to achieve something great comes from the ability to be focused. In calm environments such as home at least, where I am not threatened, I can do this. My continued fulfilment will come from creating environments that I control into which others are attracted to be healed, entertained and to learn.

The most important holiday in China is the Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year. The Chinese traditionally believe that every person turns one year older on the New Year and, thus, that day is considered to be everyone’s birthday.
9. ZEN WISDOM
The worst mistake you can make is to give up on yourself and stop challenging yourself for fear of failure.
