3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I have encountered a new phenomenon on social media - the "proxy friend" - folks who rather than directly contribute have a secretary or even a whole team working for them - I find this rather insulting. If I wanted to be a "fan" I would join a fan page, but I don't like people communicating with me like they're the real person when in fact they're the lackey.

JJ Virgin is the latest Facebook "Friend" to be unfriended by me for this condescending practice. If it's not you who's typing, say so up front!

On the therapist front, something of a re-think is going on about how to promote myself. I have not yet reached any conclusions, but meantime I will plug away as best I can - and I WON'T be employing lackeys to compose my posts for me!

Are you responding in the right way to the new situations you encounter?

8. TRIVIA
When the Roman Empire began to fall, inflation dramatically increased. Between A.D. 200 - 280, the price of a bale of wheat rose from 16 to 120,000 drachmas.

9. ZEN WISDOM
It takes courage to become happy—courage to remain true to one’s convictions, courage not to be defeated by one’s weaknesses and negativity, courage to take swift action to help those who are suffering.
