3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Insufficient meditation (due to an untypical week) has been showing itself
in a struggle to focus. On the plus side however, my mood has been very settled and I'm delighted with my progress!

I now fully appreciate that if I want to keep my mind in a healthy place, both meditation and the right techniques are essential! Today my focus is very much on focus itself, and keeping it on my goals and intentions rather circumstances past and present. A calmer mood is definitely helping and worth the sacrifice of sugar, which I am increasingly convinced is the cause of a lifetime of intense mood swings.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
How well do you understand yourself?

8. TRIVIA
Birth order can influence whether a marriage succeeds or fails. Statistically, the most successful marriages are those where the oldest sister of brothers marries the youngest brother of sisters. Two firstborns, however, tend to be more aggressive and can create higher levels of tension. The highest divorce rates are when an only child marries another only child.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The fortitude to fight on through to the very end—this strength is not only the basis of happiness, it is also the force by which social wrongs can be righted.
