3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
As Missus carer one of my least favourite jobs is de-hoarding her wardrobe. A most upsetting task, it reminds me I AM a carer.
I liken it to that scene in THE SHINING where Jack's wife finds out
that all he's been writing for weeks is ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A
DULL BOY.
Having not done it for four weeks, it proved a seriously big job. As usual amidst all the rubbish I came across stuff bought as presents that will never be given or used. After prodding her conscience regarding fait accompli impulse purchases, I'm hoping she won't make any for a while.
I have however accepted how things are and I just get on with it. Like many tasks, if you accept it must be done and keep on top of it, it's not so bad. Having neglected to do it for a while, it was a little more upsetting than usual
4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
What do you find hard to accept?

9. ZEN WISDOM
No matter how wonderful our dreams, how noble our ideals, or how high
our hopes, ultimately we need courage to make them a reality. Without
action, it’s as if they never existed.
