3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I couldn't resist a little "sneaky-peaky" at the weigh scale to see if my drastically-reduced calorie intake had dropped me below 15 stone - and got desperately disappointed! I had put a pound ON! Of course, it was only Day 3 and far too early to draw any conclusions, as water levels greatly affect weight in the short term. I just got confronted with reality that excess bodyfat doesn't just vanish because of a few days calorie-management.

In addition there is a delay between changing your intake and seeing it kick in - if nothing's going in, fat must be being burnt. It's time for the discipline of patience to kick in and wait until the first formal weigh-in at Day 10, and simply get on with life. Two days of fasting are here again and that will definitely move things along!

With a plan in place for nutrition its time to move on and focus on other aspects, particularly developing my practice, keeping my focus in the right place and aiming to experience life from the perspective of Higher Consciousness. Let's get on with it!

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
A mega-tsunami occurred at Lituya Bay, Alaska, in 1958, creating the tallest tsunami ever recorded at 1,700 feet (534 m) high. Miraculously, only two people died.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When we have a genuine sense that, no matter how difficult our present circumstances, we are not alone—that we are vitally connected with others and with the world—we will, without fail, rise up to the challenge of living again.
