3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION 

With no one noticing I fasted all day yesterday. The resultant "feeling" was perfectly manageable! So long as I keep hydrated and take nutritional supplements, I could do this easily until at ideal weight. I am not going to however because this would alarm Missus. Secondly, the body cannot store protein so I will need to consume some to stay healthy.

Instead, I will fast when I can do so discreetly, such as at the Weekend Job. On other days, I will have a single meal with Missus. With olanzapine blinding her peripheral awareness, it will be fairly easy to hide my new regime in plain sight. Another day of discreet fasting today will be an opportunity to observe myself and see if "the feeling" rises, falls or stays the same in intensity.

Unless we live fully, not "sometime" in the future, but right now, true fulfillment in life will forever elude us. Rather than put things off till the future, we should find meaning in doing what we think is most important right now—setting our hearts aflame and igniting our lives. Otherwise, we will not be able to lead an inspired existence.
