3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
This character has never before experienced such a position where his destiny is so entirely in his own hands. The prime response to this is of course gratitude! This opportunity will be exploited as far as possible to make a difference to self, others and the environment. I'm certainly feeling the benefit of daily meditation and daily self-care, and distractions from these are at an all-time low. So then, onward into the day to go on making a difference!

9. ZEN WISDOM
None of us can exist in isolation. Our lives and existence are supported by others in seen and unseen ways, be it by parents, mentors or society at large. To be aware of these connections, to feel appreciation for them, and to strive to give something back to society in a spirit of gratitude is the proper way for human beings to live.
