In the Baltic... Soviet minesweeper T-57 sunk by mine

In Germany... First successful test launch of the A4 rocket at Peenemunde.

In the Channel Islands... British Commandos raid Sark overnight.

Over Greece... US MEAF bombers attack Pylos Bay.

In the Mediterranean... British submarine Porpoise conducts minelaying operations off Tobruk. German vessel Kreta sunk by British submarine Turbulent.

In the Atlantic...US vessel Robert H. Colley sunk by U-254

In the Aleutian Islands... US 11th Air Force bombers attack Kiska Island again, 5 Japanese fighters shot down . The Japanese retaliate by attacking Adak Island again.

In the Pacific... Japanese troops stranded on Goodenough Island are finally rescued by Japanese submarine I-1. Japanese vessel Kinkai Maru sunk by USN submarine Greenling off Honshu.

In the Indian Ocean...Soviet vessel Mikojan sunk by IJN submarine I-162.

I am pleased that I kickstarted morning T'ai Chi and Yoga Sun Salutations yesterday, and Mon - Wed my days now have more structure. My mind and body knew they had a workout! I fully intend to keep these disciplines going hereafter.
